I am wondering why it is that people who are supposedly desperately trying to either get, or to keep fit, have never thought of using good old shanksy's pony ?. For those young'uns amongst us who haven't the vaguest idea what that is, it's quite simply walking. You SAY you want to keep fit but you drive to the gym, you drive to the store, you drive to the mall. Ok so when you're going back home you may need the car to carry all those heavy bags.

People, people, people, trust me, walking will do you a POWER of good it will strengthen your muscles, it will exercise your heart, it will exercise your lungs and it will generally improve your health. So if it's so damn good why not do MORE of it.

WALK to the gym, (you wont have to do your usual warm up routine, you'll have already dont it) WALK to the store, (obviously where this is a feasible option) and if possible WALK to the mall, and catch the bus back home. Get healthy, save money and improve the environment all in one go.
