LONG-TERM VISION
Obama:
_Confront America's dependence on oil by developing energy alternatives and conservation.
McCain:
_Break the nation's dependence on foreign energy by 2025 with more domestic production and alternative energy sources.

More oil isn't the answer. If they want to pander to America so we all feel better then do it, but don't forget that oil will run out one day. Even if we drilled tomorrow and got oil I don't see how that helps us, it isn't our government getting the oil, it's private companies who sell to the highest bidder. None of us will see lower gas, only the oil companies benefit from this plan, but as I said it makes people feel better to have drilling in the plan so I say add it in there just make sure you have a long term vision as well so our kids don't have to go through this.
