Instead of using those tiny little post its, or memo cubes, with their tiny pieces of paper, go for a more green idea. Use wipe off boards. You simply write down the messages, or meeting times, then simply wipe the messages off. They are in expensive, can be used numerous times, and they don't create unnecessary trash.

I am all for the wipe offboards. I use them at home, so why not use them at work. Also chalk boards work well too. As long as no one decides to erase them. I know the people who invented the memo cubes and post it won't be too happy. I wonder if they are even thinking about the economy?

GREAT idea VI, a good friend of mine back in the UK uses them at work, she personalized it by drawing a little man peeking over a wall (I think you call em Killroy over here) AWESOME idea hope you've got many more like that. Keep em coming :)

I just went out an bought a couple of wipe off board. I put one in my office, the other I will use a home. I couldn't get over how many different sizes I could find. I opted for a fairly small one which will fit on my refrigerator. I bought a big one for my office. I also made sure I bought some of the wipe off markers, and an eraser.

I almost forgot. Be very careful when you write on your wipe off board. Make sure you don't accidently pick up a permanent marker. A friend did that once, and she tried hard to scrub it off, but to no avail. She ended up having to buy a new board. So make sure you keep your makers in seperate areas.

EXCELLENT advice there VI, I do believe there is a cleaner out there that will get permanent marker off a wipe off board, theres only teeny little problem, it ruins the board surface too, and it not QUITE so wipe-off-able. But as they say it DOES get the permanent marker off, they didn't say anything about being able to use the board again afterwards.

I accidently used perm marker once, and I tried to clean it with a recommended cleaner, and it made a mess of the board. I think they should use these in school offices as well. I know some people are still hung up on the message pads, or post its. Those people will be hard to get them to change, some people really get set in their ways.

I amit I used to be a crazy person using those post its all the time. I recently went to the store, bought 4 wipe-off boards, several packages of markers and a few erasers. I am keeping 2 for myself, and the rest of Christmas presents for my boss and his secretary.
